Alexandre Paré, M.Sc.,CSCS has a masters degree in exercise science with a specialty in exercise physiology. Previous aerobics instructor for many years, and still to this day, personal trainer, he now focuses his energies on his growing career of guest speaker and television consultant in kinesiology. He animates the fitness portion of a popular TV show “ tout simplement Clodine’’ on the French network and writes in the french magazine ‘ Sensass’’. Associate professor at Laval’s university, national Reebok Master Trainer, presenter in fitness/sports conference, Alexandre still finds time to run a private business specializing in personal trainers’ certification. Equally, he recently published, on the Québec market, is his training DVD “ l’entraineur 1 et 2”. Friendly, sincere and dynamic, this amazing speaker will find ways to make you understand harsh theoretical notions, as he possesses an exceptional talent in communicating his knowledge to all types of audiences.

Ann McMillan discovered Pilates while pursuing a dance career in New York city. Fascinated with the human body in motion she holds a Masters degree in Exercise science from the Université de Montréal. Her graduate work was the first to establish a scientific link between Pilates and improved dynamic posture in ballet dancers. A pioneer, she was the first to offer Pilates to the Montreal public. She opened the Centre Pilates de Montréal in 1992 and quickly built a solid clientele. In response to the ever growing demand for information about Pilates, Ann has given numerous interviews to the media, workshops, conferences, and teaches at the department of kinesiology of the University of Montréal.

Anthony Singelis: Nicknamed the “spinning dean” by his colleagues, Anthony is an educator in bike bibs with a background as colorful as a cyclist's jersey. He is a dean by day at Champlain College and a cycling instructor by night and on weekends at GoodLife Fitness Clubs and Club Sportif MAA. Known for his signature approach to leading indoor cycling classes where he coaches as much off the bike as on, his approach to indoor cycling is to get participants to enjoy the activity as much as its purpose.

Carole Woodstock is a choreographer, Regional Group Exercise Manager for the GoodLife Fitness Clubs, international presenter and former National Director for Culture Shock Canada. Her award winning Cardio Hip-Hop television show is famous for Carole’s creativity and energy. Carole was the recipient of the 1999 Can-Fit-pro Specialty Presenter of the year and also the 2001 Community Builder’s Award recipient. Carole is known for her dynamic and approachable teaching style!

Caroline Canan B.Sc. - Passionate, dynamic, professional! Caroline has built upon her degree in exercise science to create a career as a fitness instructor and educator. She is a PRO Trainer for Can-Fit-Pro's Fitness Instructor Specialist program. She manages a team of instructors who teach group fitness classes through her business CC FITNESS in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Caroline is dedicated to educate, motivate and communicate!

Dev Chatterjee brings a unique blend of experiences, from his past 9 years of practice, to the rehabilitation and fitness industries. His first exposure to the neurological and biomechanical principals of human movement and exercise was experienced during his studies at McGill’s faculty of medicine where he attained his Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy. Immediately Dev was able to implement these principles in rehabilitation and fitness/athletics. This led him to further explore the bioenergetics of human performance. As a Co-Founder of Quanta Performance Evolution, Dev speaks around Canada and the US on various topics that explore human performance at the mechanical, chemical, and energetic levels. As an MAT instructor, he is now helping the expansion of Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) in North America. Dev continues his own education process having completed the MAT Master Therapist program and the Resistance Training Specialist Mastery program in Oklahoma City.

Diana Destounis Master Trainer F.I.T YMCA Diana has been in the Fitness industry for at least 10 years as a group fitness instructor and Master Trainer. She has taught Hi/lo, Step, Box, Boot Camp, Cycle, Stretch and Yoga among other Fitness classes. She also certifies Fitness Instructors for the FIT program for the YMCA. She specializes in advanced and choreographed Step and Hi/lo. Her focus is in the teaching aspect and it is important to her to do this well. She has developed her own approach to breakdown and choreography construction. Her objective is to make choreography fun and accessible to people.

Doris St- Arnaud has a 23-year background in Fitness Industry. She is the author of 4 exercise books (French and English) well known across Canada, United States and Europe and the author of the Stability Ball Certification manuals I and II for Energie Cardio and six training DVDs.

Doris is the Director of Ramping Force (the only Ramping Instructor Group recognized by the Ramp ™ Company to provide Ramping 1-2-3 and Ramping-Up certification programs in Canada) and a Canadian Master Trainer for the Gliding™ Exercise System.

During the last few years, Doris has turned her energy and knowledge toward developing Stability Ball exercise programs, Ramping™ exercise programs and Gliding™ exercise programs for Group Fitness Professionals and Personal Trainers. Her certifications include YMCA, CAIN, FIDA and Canfitpro PTS.

She is more and more in demand from organizations like Canfitpro, Fitforces, YMCA and more recently FIBO (the most important fitness conference in Europe). She enjoys presenting and is well known for her outstanding dynamism and contagious energy.

Frances Michaelson eats, breathes and sleeps fitness. For over 20 years she has surrounded and immersed herself in health, wellness and nutrition, keeping the fitness industry at the forefront of her life whether it is through her businesses, daily activities, or life style. Her passion for this way of life emanates beyond herself to her clients and associates. She is the proud owner of Muscle Up Training Center in Baie d’Urfe – a unique concept of training services in the West Island. Under Muscle Up Canada, she has been distributing high quality exercise products across Canada for 20 years. Along with inspiring others, Frances, has accomplished much personally. She reached a lifetime goal by competing in a provincial natural body building competition in 1996. Frances has also held many prominent roles, having been an aerobics instructor with the RCMP for several years as well as participating and speaking at many fitness related conferences across North America. She also finds the time to write a weekly “Fit Tip” column for a local newspaper.

Jennifer Pelletier Energy, dynamism and creativity! As a student of kinesiology with 5 years of dance training and 10 years of gymnastics, Jennifer is known for creative choreography featuring Latin, reggae and hip hop moves. Jennifer is part of the Can-Fit-Pro advisory panel and presents at their Toronto and Montreal conferences. Her international experience includes work as an evaluator for NRG2GO Instructor Work Abroad Program, and as a fitness leader with Josée Lavigueur in Cuba.

As Group Fitness Director at Energie Cardio, Jennifer is responsible for the development of new programs and training fitness staff for 70 clubs. She is a fitness media personality in Quebec and has appeared on numerous TV shows. Jennifer continues to bring excellence to the fitness industry as the organizer of the Tempsdanses fitness conference in Québec. She is a proud winners of the “Hip Hop 4 Ever Festival,” with the elite hip hop troupe “Da Angelo Dance Productions and instructor for the Montreal Culture Shock dance troupe.

Laura Warf B. Ed. (Fitness), CFP FIS - is an established fitness professional in Montreal. Can-Fit-Pro 2005 Canadian New Presenter of the Year. Laura’s background is in personal training, club management and program coordinating. She is currently the Fitness Director for Interclub des Laurentides in Piedmont, Qc. and the editor for beyondfitness magazine. Laura continues to work as a consultant and as a health and fitness educator offering workshops, seminars and coaching services to help others achieve a healthy balanced lifestyle through her business LauraLifestyles. Laura’s strength as an educator, and her dynamic personal presentation style has made her popular for her yoga and cycling classes and workshops in her community and within the fitness industry. Laura has studied extensively with great yoga teachers such as Shiva Rea, Mark Whitwell, David Swenson, Todd Norian and Yoganand among others. Her approach to practicing and teaching yoga is to guide others through a journey of self-discovery in a nurturing and accepting way. She maintains her passion for teaching by actively instructing yoga and group cycling classes at Interclub.

Lynn Coward B.A., Can-Fit-Pro Certified (FIS), and Pro Trainer (FIS, PTS - French), A.C.S.M. Lynn Coward has a B.A. and a fitness instructor certification from McGill University and is a Certified Member and Pro-Trainer (Fitness Instructor Specialist and Personal Trainer Specialist)) with Can-Fit-Pro, a Certified Group Exercise Leader with the American College of Sports Medicine, A Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E Trainer and a personal trainer with over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. Dynamic and bilingual, Lynn owns and manages Adrenalynn Fitness-Complice, a personal training and corporate fitness consultation business in the Montreal area. Lynn trains over 15 personal and semi-private clients weekly, works on-site providing corporate fitness services for Agromex/F.Ménard, teaches group fitness classes daily for Energie Cardio and teaches Can-Fit-Pro fitness instructor and personal training certification courses. She has presented lectures and workshops in English and French on fitness related topics for the fitness community and the general public having presented for the “Université du troisième âge” affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke, Can-Fit-Pro , and FitForces). Lynn is presently enrolled in The Excelerator Lifestyle Coaching Program (The Lifestyle Coaching Institute) and is preparing to graduate as a Level One coach in Spring 2006.

Marc Dagenais, MHK, CSCS, ChPC is a peak performance coach and professional speaker, is an expert at improving performance, developing talent and helping people and teams reach their full potential. Marc Lebert has excelled at sports all his life but his passion for weight training began at college where he first stepped foot in the weight room. He has been working out religiously ever since! Along the way Marc also became very enthused about Taekwondo, earning his Black Belt, fighting competitively on a National Level and instructing.

As the Strength and Conditioning coach for Billy “The Kid” Irwin, Marc also began learning the “sweet science” and boxing is a real passion for him teaching high energy, dynamic classes every week.

Marc is a Certified Personal Trainer and proprietor of Personal Strength Fitness Inc. training clients in their homes, corporations (including 10 years at GlaxoSmithKline) and at his fitness club, fuel fitness in Mississauga.

Marc has his BA in Psychology and is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner. A published writer, he also instructs health/fitness and motivation seminars.

Marc is also the inventor of the Lebert Equalizer- a new strength training tool that is being used by Personal Trainers, fitness clubs, community centers, schools and Sports centres all over the country.

Mat Boulé is a Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT®) intern in Denver, CO, an osteopathy student, a certified posturologist and Active Release Techniques (ART®) provider. As well, he is certified by the NSCA as a CSCS and by the Poliquin Center as a Level 1 Coach. Mathieu’s goal is to develop a practice where every intervention can be justified on the basis of anatomy, biomechanics and neurophysiology.

Peter Churchill B.Ed. P.E. (McGill) Certified A.C.E. Personal Fitness Trainer & Group Exercise Instructor.

Also one of the first C.S.C.S. certified strength and conditioning specialists by the N.S.C.A. as well as being certified in fitness club management by the club association I.H.R.S.A. Peter along with his wife Ivana Junek are the co-owners of Studio A, the largest and most successful Hip Hop dance studio in Canada, located in Montreal.

Studio A also houses a state of the art and innovative 30 minute Functional Training Cardio-Core-Strength circuit and personal fitness training center. Peter has been a Personal Fitness Coach and Trainer since 1982. He has sat as a member of the A.C.E. Personal Fitness Training development committee for over 10 years and taught thousands of group exercise classes instructing up to 30 per week. He has presented various fitness topics for instructors and trainers hosted by organizations that include I.H.R.S.A., I.D.E.A., Can Fit Pro, A.E.A., and the Y.M.C.A. of Canada and the U.S.A.

For three years, Pierre has obtained his formation and attestation from Doctor Tran Tien Chanh regarding Protein Diet and shares this effective and natural slimming method through Quebec. Pierre is the writer of many chronicles in the newspapers on health and nutrition for over 12 years now. He is also very involved with business and affairs and holds the title of Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce of “ Haute-Yamaska”, he is regularly animating conferences, formations and meetings. Leader, teacher and father of family, Pierre devote his energies to spreading the good news that there are solutions to the 21st century obesity!

Sam Maniatis is a graduate of Concordia University. His BA is in Recreation and Fitness. He is also certified by the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the YMCA Canada, Can-Fit-Pro Advanced Personal Training Specialist (ADV PTS) and Personal Training Specialist (PTS) PRO Trainer and has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry. He has presented for Can-Fit-Pro Montréal, the YMCA, and FitForces. He teachers the Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) at the YMCA and has also worked with various sport teams as a position and strength coach. He is presently co-owner of a personal training and personal trainer certification business. His teaching is based on his experience and out of the box methodologies for fitness training taking personal training to new levels. He is a great teacher keeping you focused with his knowledge, experience and humor

Shelly McDonald has been a dedicated fitness professional for many years now as a Television Personnel, Group Fitness Director, International Presenter, and Phys Ed. teacher. She is most recognized for her involvement with TSN, OLN and Fit TV's ' Caribbean Workout' where she is appearing for the twelfth year and hosting for the fifth year.

Her extensive media background includes starring in one other fitness show that was aired on CTV's Sports Net, co-starring in several fitness videos, appearing daily on most Air Canada flights in a series of Lifestyle and Wellness videos, acting as the Fitness Expert for several television productions. Shelly's picture has appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines including the New York Times. Shelly is the start of 8 DVD's that are sold in stores across Canada and the US. Aside from her involvement with the media, she is a physical education teacher at Marianopolis College and the Group Fitness Director at Club Sportif MAA.

Tami Smith has been teaching Jazzercise since 1985 and is National Manager for Jazzercise Canada. Tami’s certifications also include ACE Group Fitness Leader and Personal Trainer as well as Can-Fit Pro’s Group Exercise Specialist. She teaches both adult and children’s Jazzercise classes. Her high energy, bilingual, fun filled classes will definitely leave you smiling. Tami has been a proud supporter of “The Missing Children’s Network for over 10 years and was recently awarded the Roy Kemp Spirit of Humanitarian Award by the organization.

Térésa Góngora has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry and she is a certified Exercise Leader with the American college of Sports Medicine, and for some others very well known associations around the world :Can Fit Pro , Y.M.C.A. in Canada , A.N.I.E. in Québec, and Beverly Hills and D’Maroto in Mexico, where she was born and raised. Extremely energetic, dynamic and tri-lingual (French, English and Spanish), Teresa is a member of Can Fit Pro’s elite team of Pro Trainers for the ‘FIS’ and ‘ PTS’ training programs for aerobic instructors and personal trainers.

Teresa is a polished group presenter as well as an attentive personal trainer , she recently add at her certifications the Nutrition and Wellness consultant . Her goal is to share her expertise and enthusiasm for fitness with others so they can achieve their own personal and fitness goals. Yasmine Baise is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher in the art of bellydance, Yasmine has been practicing this art since the early 1980’s. Yves Éthier, Bachelor in Physical Education, and in Administration, Yves is a pro trainer for Check Institute; he also practices osteopathy and active release and is a posturologist. His athletes have collected 40% of all medals won by Canada at the last Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. In the last 3 years, his athletes have won over 70 medals in International competition.
