Title: COMPETING
A lot of people do not see bodybuilding as a true
sport. They are right… it’s a lifestyle,
a way of life. There is not an activity that I can
think of that puts such a demand on the individual
and his family… and his friends… and
hi co-workers… and the list goes on and on…
I am happy to have competed because it is a true
test of strength. Of course there is the training,
the diet, the resting, the posing; but most of
all there is the psychological aspect to it that
is the real concern. It’s how you juggle
with all that needs to be done that either makes
you or breaks you. This is where bodybuilders
and athletes alike find true success. It is in
the sacrifices, in the day to day of the operation.
Performing is a treat that is presented to the
athlete on a silver platter after the preparation
has been made. The success of the athletes lies
in the preparation. It is also the most enjoyable
part as you are, every day, building!
