FIT Tip of the Month: by Frances Michaelson from Muscle Up Canada According to several strength-conditioning coaches, first thing in the morning is not the best time to work out (resistance training). To weight train in a fasted state (not having eaten for several hours) is not optimal. The body and nervous system take around two hours to fully “wake up”. If there is no other possible time for you to train, it is suggested that you wake up at least one hour before and consume some liquid protein as soon as you get up.

FAME Canada, The Fitness and Model Expo May 28-30 was a success for FITForces in Toronto.

Fame Canada Team put a lot of effort in making that big event a successful one. They had over 300 athletes in Toronto!

It was nice to see many exhibitors from the health and nutrition field, among others from the well-being and the fitness industry, promote their products under one roof.

Le Groupe de Fame Canada a mis beaucoup d'efforts afin de réussir cet événement d'envergure nationale qui a regroupé au delà de 300 athlètes!

C'était agréable et enrichissant de voir divers exposants dans le domaine de la santé et de la nutrition, parmi d'autres dans le domaine du fitness et du bien-être, rassemblés au même endroit.
