Tip of the Month: Is
Slow Resistance better then Traditional?

One of the most recent
fads sweeping the health and fitness industry
is super slow training consisting of repetitions
that last approximately 15 seconds each.
Proposed benefits of this training style
include strength, hypertrophy, and fat loss.
The bottom line? Just because someone says
a program works doesn’t mean it works
for everyone. Can super low training be
used? Absolutely! Because of its extended
time – under tension properties, it
may help develop connective tissue strength,
very crucial in preparation for heavier
forms of training. There is no magic tool!

This year I was not one of the competitors,
I was one of the exhibitors and part
of the audience.
It was a great experience for me to
be in the Fitness Model Search division
2003 and a great pleasure for me this
year to meet key players in the Fitness
Industry.
It was a fun, well-organized event with
over 100 athletes!
One of the Best Regional Events I have
personally seen with so many Athletes
and people that traveled from various
areas to compete and watch the show.
Last but not least, I personally loved
some athletes fitness routines because
they demonstrated strength, flexibility,
endurance and so much power and energy!
Don't miss out on the next show, come
meet us in Toronto, come and see the
show for yourself!
The
National Event at FAME Canada is
the Fitness and Model Expo
Starting May 27-30. I heard it is wonderful.
FITForces will have a booth and will
be among all fitness professionals,

Cette
année je n'étais
pas parmi les compétiteurs
mais parmi les exposants. En
2003, j'ai participé
à la compétion
sous la catégorie Fitness
Model Search et c'était
une bonne expérience.
Cette année, j'étais
contente de renconter de nouveaux
visages dans l'industrie du
fitness.
L'événement était
amusant, agréable et
bien organisé regroupant
au delà de 100 athlètes!
C'était un des meilleurs
événements rassemblant
des athlètes et des gens
de diverses provinces.
J'ai personellement admiré
le talent de certains athlètes;
ils avaient la flexibilité,
l'endurance, la force et beaucoup
d'énergie lors de la
présentation de leur
routine de danse. Ne manquez
surtout pas le prochain événement
à Toronto. Venez nous
rencontrer et assister au spectacle!
L'événement
prochain de FAME Canada
est le Fitness and Model
Expo débutant le
27-30 Mai prochains.
J'ai entendu dire que c'est
